Optimizing Images for Your Website

It's important to optimize your images before uploading it to your website. We don't want to have such large image files that it takes your visitors a long time to load your website page.

Google Analytics considers speed when ranking web pages for their index.

No matter what CMS system you're using, whether it be Craft CMS or ExpressionEngine, here is a great little application for macOS called ImageOptim.

ImageOptim makes it super easy to not only shrink down the image file size so the images can be downloaded faster, but also removes the EXIF metadata from the image file.

We have found this to be a great tool, and perhaps you'll like it too.

Check out this Mac application, ImageOptim.
